asymmetric skirt

asymmetric skirt - eBay

I have wanted a asymmetric skirt since before Christmas but could only find one in Zara, for 8 times the price and it was always out of stock online.  So my search continued, in recent months they have been popping up all over the high street. I did purchase a grey jersey one from Primark but didn't like the fabric and the way it hanged so that was returned. So when I saw this Zara imitation for £3.99 on my beloved eBay I didn't hesitate to buy it. I thought whats to lose for that price? If I don't like it I can gift it to someone, so here it is in all its glory my green asymmetric skirt.

you can taste the bright lights, but you won't get there for free

top - h&m
shorts - boohoo

I tried this top on a couple of months ago on a shopping trip but put it back on the rack, as I'm not one that likes to bare their mid driff and I am quite lazy with my posture and tend to slouch which would not be attractive with this top. But as soon as I got home I regretted not buying this top. I justified buying it with the backing of "this could be my inspiration to go to the gym, being able to wear a crop top comfortably" and boy is it working, I will have a nice flat tummy come holiday time and I will be rocking this crop top!

eBay wishlist: 001

2  3 4 5
eBay is definitely one of my favourite places to shop, you can get unique items at brilliant prices.  My watch list is full of bargains that I can't wait to share with you. Come payday I will be ordering some more lovely things from my new favourite shopping destination of Hong Kong. But for now enjoy my top five most wanted items on my watch list this week!

buckle ring

I have wanted a buckle ring for a while,  but finding a 9 carat gold one was proofing to be super expensive. So I didn't hestitate to order this one from eBay for under £2. I can't really fault it for that price, but the product did differ from the image slightly. It came quickly and I also had a free gift, a rubber adidas ring lolz.. I won't be wearing that but its the thought that counts, eh?

I am in love with ordering things from Hong Kong eBay at the moment its all so ridiculously cheap and the majority with free delivery it is definitely worth the wait. I have my eye on a few things for my holiday in September. What I like best with ordering from abroad, besides the super cheap price! is that the items are unique. I know that I won't bump into someone else wearing the same shorts or top as me, as they aren't clever enough or possibly stupid enough to trawl the internet for hours. Thats my only concern when looking in high street shops - my town only has a new look, peacocks and dorothy perkins, lame - you can guarantee someone will be wearing the exact same outfit as you.

skulls & studs

skull clutch - eBay

Whenever I'm getting ready for a night out I never seem to have an amazing statement clutch and always have to settle for my plain trusty goes with anything bag. But no longer, I found this on eBay and didn't hesitate to bid on it and won it for... 63p! I waited patiently for it arrive from Hong Kong, which I was a bit worried about I ordered a couple of things and they have all arrived safely and in good time, so will definitely be ordering some more stuff.  I was really impressed with the size of it when it came. Its much bigger than I thought it would be. It does have a strap inside too so you don't have to hold it in your hand. Now I just need a night out to show it off!

holiday wishlist

• top - h&m • floral garland - topshop • lace shorts - missguided • straw bag - topshop • sandals - topshop

It has been a week since we booked our holiday to Egypt and although we aren't departing till September I can't help but look at all the summer things the high street has to offer. These are my favourite items, I have wanted the floral garland for a while to make my boring top knots more exciting but haven't seen one in my local store yet. I can't justify paying the delivery charge for just that item. The ladybug print top is soooo adorable, I wasn't to sure on it at first but on closer inspection it is just irresistibly cute! Of course any beach scene wouldn't be complete without a structured straw bag and the hints of pink are just a bonus for me. I really like the lace shorts on missguided but feel they are a bit pricey for what they are, d.i.y anyone? Finally, I love love love the rose gold sandals and might have to order a pair tonight. I'm a sucker for anything rose gold. Just a quick post as I'm off to my gym induction now!

jubilee OOTD

cardigan - h&m
dress - tk maxx
belt - peacocks

say hello to my six year old sister Carys. But we rarely call her that. Since the day she was born we have always called her boo, so say hello to boo everyone! She is practically pushing me out of this OOTD post, but I couldn't help but share photographs of her beautiful dress with you. She is so excitable, and has had a jubilee filled weekend. She is in love with the Royal family and was very upset when we told her the Queen wouldn't be in our town today. We have not long come back from the Jubilee Party our local council hosted, where we waved our mini flags and watched acts sing, the weather ruined it though. I think there may be a street party on our street tonight,  how are you celebrating the Jubilee?

dreamy cupcakes!

white choc cup cakes

                                                                      will need:                                                                    frosting:
130g plain flour                                                           400g icing sugar
150g caster sugar                                                         120g butter, unsalted
50g butter, unsalted                                                     few drops of vanilla
                                                                     1.5 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt                                                                 also one giant bar of white chocolate!
                                                                     130ml whole milk
                                                                     vanilla essence
                                                                     1 egg

preheat oven to gas mark 3 so it is nice and hot when your cupcakes are ready to go in. I would grate your chocolate ahead of getting started just so its ready when you come to it. I like to lay everything out before I get started, saves rushing around looking for it mid recipe. So, grate 12 cubes of white chocolate to pop into the cases later on. Grate a further 12 for the icing and keep separate. Grate the remainder of chocolate for decoration. By grating the white chocolate you are keeping all of the flavour!

sieve the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together,
add the butter until the mixture becomes like fine grainy sand.
add half the milk and vanilla, mix till paste like,
mix the egg with the remaining milk be careful not to overmix.
split between 12 cupcake cases in a muffin tin,
fill each case with equal amounts of the grated chocolate.
mix into the batter,
bake for 20 minutes until golden & springy!

combine the butter sugar and milk gradually and whisk with an electric hand mixer
for at least 4 minutes, just to make it into a stiff mixture, almost like a stiff peak.
Mix in the 12 grated cubes of chocolate with a handwhisk,
I palleted my frosting on but you could also use a piping bag,
add remainder of chocolate to decorate.
and enjoy!

I would just like to say this is not my recipe, and i found it on the internet.

pinch, punch first day of the month!

floral garland headband - new look   £2!

001.  June already?! where is the year going, this month I am going to be a better blogger and make myself blog more often. I have lots of lovely bargains arriving from Hong Kong, outfits & recipes to share with you!

002. We booked our holiday this week which I am soooo extremely and utterly excited about! In September I will be flying out to Naama Bay in Egypt, near the very popular Sharm El Sheikh. Of course my inner shopaholic has kicked in and is looking for a new holiday wadrobe which I am banned from as I have tons of clothes I bought for last years holiday and never wore. A few new accessories won' t hurt though...

003. Today I am off to the seaside town of Aberystwyth, haven't picked the best day to go as its likely to rain. But I'll make the most of it and enjoy an ice cream on the beach nestled under my cute bow umbrella.

004. I am awaiting my Boohoo credit to go back into my account so many lovely things arriving daily on their store. Is there anything that you just must have in your life?
