busy bee

hello! been so busy this week at work, so have had zilch time to blog and been to tired when I get in.

So I will spend tonight relaxing and catching up with the high street fashion and general browsing.

Tomorrow i have a day off which will be spent creating a superhero outfit - post to follow - for work this weekend and just generally relaxing.

If you can't tell already.. I'm looking for a new pair of converse! 

I already own two pairs: 

a red/pink hi tops

floral pair lo tops

There are so many unique designs out alongside the range of colour block pairs. 

I really love the first pair as they are different to other converse I own, they are not the obvious converse. Think I might have to invest in the top pair for summer! I love the stars and stripes print. 

The childrens converse are too adorable, I wish i could squeeze into the unicorn pair and the minnie mouse pair.... There is a Dr. Seuss range available on converse.com that I was lusting over before Christmas but unfortunately then don't ship to the UK so my search continues...

galaxy nails

 hello! the weekend is finally here! Just a quick post before the girls arrive to get ready for a much deserved night out. After I finished work I painted my nails, I've been eying up the galaxy nail design for a while now I used the cutepolish tutorial, which was really straight forward.

I haven't worn this skirt out yet, as its a bit chilly possibly save it for summer days with sandals.

 I had an allergic reaction yesterday so decided to pop this on no tight waist bands to irritate my reaction.

day off, 2 of 2: my bed came today, yay! today was a pretty lazy day just bummed around on my mac playing around with some graphics, what do you think of my new layout? it isn't finished but trying to blend the background and the header became very frustrating so saving it for tomorrow.

I treated myself to this adorable owl hat in November time, I was quite surprised at the price of £10 as I find Next to be quite expensive. The pom pom ear detail is too cute to have been left behind.

 I love character hats and this cutesy one had to be added to my collection!

day off, 1 of 2: I spent the first have of the morning locked in my bedroom - mum, force of habit of keeping my little sister out - I after wandered into town to meet my Mum. I also made some jam thumb prints which are swiftly dissapearing out of the tin, and cooked me and my boyfriend a lovely meal.

I first spotted this scarf in December time, but with the vast amount of presents I was purchasing it didn't feel right spending £15 on a scarf - even though i reeeeally reeeeally liked it -

 The mix of earthy tones and the thick material reminded me of winter nights at my grandparents when I was younger wrapping up in the old holey tartan blanket. I did keep checking on it at my local Dorothy Perkins on my lunch breaks but alas the price kept me holding back.

I was creating a return for my recent Dorothy Perkins order when a wonderful equation popped into my head: sales + scarf = :) > :(

The scarf is now out of stock online, which was a great sign to me as my instant thought was it had sold out from being a mega bargain, and that it was!

I swiftly went into my local store this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see a nice big red £8 sticker on the original label, and was further more pleased when the cashier told me it was.... £5!
