OOTD: casual

top - dvo signature
coat - new look (old)
leggings - asos
converse - asos

This is what I wore today, a casual outfit for an extremely casual day.  I am trying to steer away from wearing leggings as although they are comfortable they're not very attractive. I just feel like I look lazy when I wear them. This is my favourite item of clothing for slouching and chillaxing to the max. I purchased this top from a discount store, where they receive stock from large stores such as Very and sell it at discount prices. I tried searching for it on the internet incase any one was interested in purchasing one and was in fits of giggles when I realised this is actually a maternity top! pah! So thats why its so comfy... Ah well, its my i'm feeling rubbish and lazy but I can fit into size 6 clothing yay for me top.
I went for a nosey round town with my mum and little sister and purchased Carys some Olympic souvenirs to remind her of this mammouth event. I also treated myself to a team GB bracelet. I went on the sun bed for the first time.
WHAT?!?! Y U USE SUN BED!? THERE BAD FOR YOU? yessss, i know sun beds are terrible for your skin but I don't want to spend my holiday sulking in the sun because my skin is burnt, lets call these sun bed sessions skin training. So, stripping down to my pants then asking how to use it hasn't been one of my best ideas but hey ho! Although the final destination scene did flash through my head as I entered the sun bed, it went fine and I got out alive.

oooh, p.s i am a glasses wearer now, thanks for deteriorating right eye!

payday wishlist

it's payday - YAY! - this is my little payday wishlist, I'm trying not to spend my wages this month as I don't know where I'll be financially next month..

001 - I have wanted this pair of Converse for a while now, they are all black and all leather! so sexy, the cheapest I can find them is £57 at Office. They'll be a great alternative to ouchy heels on nights out.
And will look great with a cheekey pair of new shorts I purchased...

002 - I love the work of Rob Ryan, his book 'This Is For You' is so painstakingly beautiful I could stare at it for hours. This is a cute alternative to a dairy, it will come in handy for just jotting stuff down and the odd doodle!

003 - I already own a thin jersey blazer that I swooped up for £5 at Primark, but I want something more reliable and well made. The Topshop ones are on my radar at the moment, there is a lot of colour block blazers available to buy, but I think I'll be after a trusty black or grey one.

004 - H&M sent me a mini catalogue through the post, I saw this outfit and just wanted it all! It's a bargain outfit costing under £30, what tempts me more is the £5 gift voucher H&M sent me in the post...

005 - Every girl in the universe seems to be in on the Topshop Vectra hype, or own a pair but me! I'm watching a few pairs on eBay, so hopeful to get a pair they will look great with jeans, shorts, leggings, dresses, tights... everything in my wardrobe! I must own a pair.

006 - How cute is the initial jewellery from asos? Whats even better about it is the price! both £6 each.

I'm also looking into getting a tripod so I can have more outfit posts, as my current set up for taking outfit pictures is this..

what are you buying this payday?!

converse

If you can't tell already.. I'm looking for a new pair of converse!

I already own two pairs:
a red/pink hi tops
floral pair lo tops

There are so many unique designs out alongside the range of colour block pairs.
I really love the first pair as they are different to other converse I own, they are not the obvious converse. Think I might have to invest in the top pair for summer! I love the stars and stripes print.
The childrens converse are too adorable, I wish i could squeeze into the unicorn pair and the minnie mouse pair.... There is a Dr. Seuss range available on converse.com that I was lusting over before Christmas but unfortunately then don't ship to the UK so my search continues...

are you an avid converse fan? what pairs do you own?
